Pehchaan Learning Lounge (PLL) is an inclusive educational institution that warmly embraces preschool-aged children.
Gender: either sex is eligible to apply.
Children aged 3 to 12 years are eligible to apply, though age will not determine admission to any specific class.
Intellectually challenged children with mild and moderate level of functioning are eligible.
Pre-requisites for admission: A medical certificate from IHS Children and Family Hospital is required, confirming the child is free from any communicable diseasesand containing information about any visual, auditory, or physical disability.
Must have ability to learn/improve through remedial measures and intervention techniques.
Should be free from severe behavioral disorders and psychiatric ailments
Children with a history of febrile convulsions and controlled epilepsy, with no history of fits in the past 6 to 8 months, are eligible, please submit a medical certificate from a neurologist.
Preferable to toilet trained or should be able to indicate the need.
Admission to a specific class is granted based solely on the child's performance in the entry test and observations made by the Clinical Psychologist. Please note that if any further testing is required, additional charges will apply.
In the case of provisional admission, a subsequent test and observation will be conducted after a pre-determined period to reassess the child's academic and social
progress. If no progress is observed, the child will remain in the same grade.
Progression to the next grade level at Pehchaan Learning Lounge is based oneachchild's individual progress. If a child achieves his academic goals ahead of schedule, as determined by ongoing assessments, he will be promoted to the next grade. Our standard grade tenure is tentatively set at 1 year.
Parents are required to sign the cooperation form to ensure the child's continuous development both at home and in PLL through regular attendance and participation in parent-mentor meetings.
Parental cooperation is essential if individual therapy is recommended for the child, along with simultaneous engagement in learning activities. Please note that individual
therapy sessions are charged separately.
Parents should be aware that any additional support services provided to their child, beyond the standard offerings at Pehchaan Learning Lounge (PLL), may incur separate charges.
If a child is not initially prepared to participate in classroom activities, theywill beinitially placed in a model classroom before gradually transitioning to the structured classroom environment.
On the admission form, parents must disclose any specific needs of the child(educational, medical, etc.) Please also submit a medical prescription or a school
recommendations as necessary.
In the event of a medical emergency, please allow Pehchaan Learning Lounge (PLL)
to take your child to the nearest hospital, Ali Medical, for immediate care, withall
charges to be paid by the parents.
If the child requires toilet training or instruction on concepts like good touch and badtouch, parents must authorize the Pehchaan Learning Lounge to teach and reinforce these concepts.
Parents must authorize a list of individuals, including their names, contact numbers, and CNIC numbers, who are permitted to pick up the child fromthe school premises.
In the event of any legal disputes or litigation arising between Pehchaan Learning Lounge (PLL) and the parents/guardians, both parties agree to resolve the matterthrough mediation before pursuing legal action.
Any individual or party cause’s false and frivolous litigation against the Phrontistery will be treated in the light of General Cost Act 2017.
If the Phrontistery observed any insulting literature or behavior fromany side, theinstitution has the right to claim defamatory compensation fromthat individual orparty.
If the Phrontistery found any misconduct or abusive or insulting behavior from any child or parent, the PLL has the right to expel the child immediately without
serving any notice.
If you are unable to afford fee, we offer support through our zakat fund. To apply for assistance, you can fill out the designated form. Please note that the final authority for designating support rests with the administration.

Tuition fees will be charged in advance. Parents/Guardians had an option tomakepayments either on an annual basis or through a tri-annual (every four months) payment plan.
If a child’s admission is withdrawn within one week of payment, 80% of the tuition fee will be refunded. Please note that other non-refundable fees will not be refunded.
In the case that a child leaves the school before completing the term, only the security fee will be refunded.
Please note that reports or assessments provided by Pehchaan Learning Lounge (PLL) are not intended for use in a court of law and cannot be considered as official legal
documents.
Parents must complete all admission formalities, including submitting the admission form and necessary documents.
Exclusion Criteria
If parents fail to adhere to the terms outlined in the cooperation form, the school
reserves the right to cancel or withhold the child's admission.
Any physical or verbal misconduct by parents towards any member of the Pehchaan Learning Lounge is strictly prohibited and can lead to cancellation of services.

If a child engages in physical harm towards others and cannot be managed with in the classroom setting, the school may choose to with hold admission and opt for one-on-one therapy.
Parents must not disrespect the privacy of others or disclose information or pictures of other children or parents without their consent.
Intellectually challenged children with severe level of functioning are not eligible.
